Zagalos
Zagalos Reserve is a regional Alentejo wine, a white with surprising structure, creaminess, and freshness.
The vineyards are planted in Estremoz, on schist and limestone soil, at an altitude of 450 meters, under the influence of a continental Mediterranean climate, with a significant thermal amplitude during the maturation period.
Vinification and aging: Manual harvest in small 20 kg boxes. Skin maceration of the blend for 12 hours, followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks and very used Portuguese oak barrels. Light batonnage for 6 weeks. Aging for 9 months in 300 L used Portuguese oak barrels.
