Straw colour. Fine, intense, complex and deep aroma. Apricots, yellow flowers, aromatic herbs, spices and mineral aromas stand out. Creamy attack, fine, precise and very balanced acidity that enhances the aromas in the mouth. Unique texture. Very long finish.
Manual harvesting. Rigorous manual selection of the clusters. Total destemming, followed by pre-fermentative maceration. Soft pressing. Static decantation. Fermentation in oak barrels and subsequent ageing on the lees for 20 months. Wine is neither filtered nor stabilised by cold. May create deposit.

Valle Pradinhos
Valle Pradinhos is an historic, family-owned 350 hectare estate established in 1913.The wines are a blend of native grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela and Malvasia Fina, and renowned international grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer and Riesling.
Maria Antónia Pinto de Azevedo Mascarenhas is the current owner of Casal de Vale Pradinhos. Since she took over the management of the property in 1994, she has implemented her vision of winemaking in the style of the wines that are produced here. Her daughter Maria will be the 4th generation of women directly involved in the management of this estate.
The estate’s “old world” terroir and passionate wine making team combine perfectly to deliver premium world-class Portuguese wine.
