The Vinha de Martim “Vale da Maria” is a new offering, sourced from a single vineyard facing north and east (over 80 years old). It’s a field blend aged for 9 months in French oak (75% new and 25% second use).

Quinta Vale D. Maria is a very old property in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region. A small but dedicated team of winemakers and winemakers – Sandra Tavares da Silva, Joana Pinhão and Cristiano van Zeller – try to ensure that each of the Port or Douro DOC wines represents the best that the Region has to offer. The efforts try to be characterized by innovation and differentiation. The aim is that the wines reflect personality, character, pleasure, fun, being directed towards people and the pleasure of life.
