O Produtor, tasting note published in June 28th 2023
Greenish yellow colour. The aroma highlights the notes of tropical and citric fruits involved in a beautiful volcanic ensemble. In the mouth it has volume, great freshness and minerality. It has an involving, salty and persistent finish.
Made from a blend of indigenous grape varieties from the Azores (70%) and various European grape varieties (30%).
After careful grape selection, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15ºC. Aging on fine lees for 4 months, after which the wine was bottled.
Open 20 minutes before serving.

Pico Wines
Our story is written in sweat, blood and tears. From our ancestors to the winegrowers of today. They are our people, our associates, our producers, our traditions, our techniques… a generational knowledge that makes us so unique and original. Located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, between Europe and North America, the Azores, composed of 9 islands, develop in the parallel of Lisbon with the latitudes of 39”43’/36”55’N. Pico Island is the second largest and most central of the archipelago. Viticulture has been present here for many generations.
