O Produtor, tasting note published in March 27th 2023

Crystalline lemon yellow colour with golden streaks. Elegant and complex aroma, with notes of white-fleshed fruits (pear and fresh apricot). Palate rich in fresh fruit, without a trace of tropical fruit, although it has a good amount of mouthfeel. The notes are macerated, white flowers typical of the viognier grape. With excellent acidity, which extends to the finish, providing great freshness and persistence.

Rubrica

Made from Antão Vaz, Verdelho and Viognier grape varieties, Rubrica Alentejo Branco is born in Reguengos, at Monte do Carrapelo, in the 10 hectares of a young vineyard that Luís Duarte idealised, designed and planted. Rubrica was the first fruit of a personal project started in 2007. A wine that, as expected, assumed itself as serious, complex and tremendously seductive. Part of the must fermented in French barrels and another part in stainless steel containers. After fermentation the wine remained for six months maturing in these containers.
