Rola
In the Douro, a World Heritage site, this product of excellence and quality, with traditional characteristics, is born. Rola Douro Branco showcases the unique and distinctive character of the region, where we have found the vineyards that express the Douro we know.
2023 is a year that clearly departed from the driest ones we have on record (e.g., 2005, 2017, and 2022). The 2023 harvest presented larger berries and consequently greater weight, with higher levels of assimilable nitrogen and total tannins.
Vinification:
Destemmed grapes, lightly crushed in a pneumatic press, with the resulting must decanted into 2,500-liter stainless steel tanks for 24 hours.
Bottling: February 2024.
