O Produtor, tasting note published in August 2nd 2020
Quintaluna 2019 expresses the freshness and genuine character of the Verdejo variety. With low yields we want to increase the concentration and varietal typicity. In its careful elaboration, the wine was kept for about 9 months in tank with its lees, along with some elaborations in foudre and barrels. A wine representative of an area. It expresses the maxim of the ancestral, segovian verdejo ancestral.
The grapes were harvested by hand. After that, they were gently pressed. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. For months, the wine remained in the same tanks with its lees.

Pago de Carraovejas
Pago de Carraovejas is the origin. From its first nine hectares, this project is born, a project that aspires to transform a dream into a reference winery in Ribera del Duero. The beginning of its trajectory goes back more than three decades, when Pago de Carraovejas was born in response to José María Ruiz’s aspiration to make a great wine in one of the areas with the greatest potential at the moment.
