A mineral, fresh, vibrant wine with a broad and prolonged mouth, denoting the origin of the grapes. Strong structure and very elegant and gastronomic, with the character of the Upper Douro.
Quinta dos Castelares Vinhas a Norte is born in the heart of the International Douro Natural Park, in the most continental point of the Douro Demarcated Region. The highest altitude vineyards in the Douro Demarcated Region, combined with the greatest thermal amplitudes, are the cradle of our grapes, which come from our vineyards that are exclusively north-facing. Manual harvest. Soft pressing of the whole bunches. Fermentation with temperature control at 16ºC.

Quinta dos Castelares

Two brands that have grown significantly in the four corners of the world, flying the flag of what is best produced in the Upper Douro.
