The manual harvest of Avesso began on 30 August. The grapes were received at the winery in 24kg boxes. Manual selection followed by destemming, skin maceration and gentle pneumatic pressing.
The must ferments in stainless steel vats at a low temperature. Stabilisation without filtering. No animal derivatives are used in the process, making this wine suitable for vegan consumers. Special care has been taken in the winemaking process, minimising any intervention, with the aim of producing a wine that expresses the particularities of the grapes and the terroir. Bottled in May 2023.

At A&D WINES we are dedicated to the production of wines from grapes grown on our estates. We respect the individual character of each plot and the personality and characteristics of each grape variety, transforming them into wines that authentically express their origins. It was in 2015 that A&D Wines decided to move on to a more ambitious project by acquiring Quinta de Santa Teresa, another investment in Baião, this time with 33 ha of vineyard to which 5 ha of Casa do Arrabalde and 7 hectares of Quinta dos Espinhosos are added, making a total of 45 ha. The medium term goal is to reach a production of 300.000 bottles and to place Quinta de Santa Teresa in the Enotourism map of the region.
