João Guedes, tasting note published in November 19th 2019
It has a greenish-yellow color. On the nose, there are tropical and citrus fruits, earthy and mineral aromas. It tastes like ripe yellow apples. The wine is very fresh, well done, with a long finish. It should be consumed at nine degrees Celsius. As a perfect combination, I recommend avocado salad with salmon.
The grapes were harvested by hand at the ideal point of maturation. In the cellar, after destemming and soft pressing, the cold decantation of the musts was followed, which, after reaching the necessary clarity, were fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16C-17ºC for 4 weeks. The wine aged for 2 months on the fine lees up to the date of bottling.
