Quinta de Adorigo
Viticulture: In conversion to organic practices and regenerative agriculture.
Soil Type: Gravelly schist with some areas of higher clay content.
Altitude / Exposure: Between 300 and 400 metres above sea level, north-facing.
Vintage Year: An atypical year. A mild and rainy winter was followed by a hot, dry spring that favoured the vines’ sanitary condition. The summer brought some rainfall and a hot period until July, with milder temperatures afterwards, allowing for balanced ripening with less thermal and water stress.
Vinification: 50% Rabigato, 40% Gouveio, 10% Bical. The grapes were crushed directly into a vertical press. After gentle pressing, the must was cold-settled for 24 hours and fermented in used 500-litre barrels.
