O Produtor, tasting note published in April 23rd 2021

Mineral and fresh wine. Aromas with citrus notes typical of the grape blend and hints of honey and mint from its bottle evolution. Extremely creamy wine, with excellent balance between structure and acidity.

Quinta da Boa Esperança

In harmony with nature and ancient knowledge, we have created a genuine wine that takes us on an ancient experience.

It is on clay-limestone soils that the vines that produce this regional white wine from Lisbon, Quinta da Boa Esperança, are planted, a blend of 50% Fernão Pires and 50% Arinto.

Mild and rainy year, but with a sunburn phenomenon in the middle of maturation, which caused the harvest to start later than usual, allowing the vine to recover.

Vinification: Whole bunch pressing. 20% of the batch fermented in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature between 10/12ºC, followed by 4 months of batonnage in tank. 80% of the batch fermented in new barrels, with batonnage for 6 months + 12 months aging in bottles.
