The Quinta da Boa Esperança project was born out of the desire to create a space that reflects a way of thinking and living. We believe in respecting nature and its harmonious coexistence with man.
The lands of Zibreira are part of the Oeste region of Portugal, situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Serra de Montejunto. They belong to the Lisbon district, which is one of the largest wine-producing regions in the country and one of the most extensive vineyard areas in Portugal.
Here, in our cellars, dedication to viticulture and wine production has been practiced for over a hundred years by local people who know and cherish the land.
Amidst the sunlit slopes and valleys, interspersed with vineyards and fruit trees, Quinta da Boa Esperança is based on a concept of sustainable vineyards, committing to ensure the well-being of our vines, as well as to protect our soils and their waters. The excellence of our grapes comes from careful dedication to the vineyards throughout the year, culminating in the effort of a manual harvest.
It is from the vegetable garden and the chicken coop that many of the ingredients for our lunches and dinners come, accompanied by good conversations and good wine. The philosophy of sustainability is inherent in the entire estate.
Celebration is one of the most gratifying forms of gratitude.
The toast, the warm embrace, the music… everything translates into warm and vibrant feelings that warm our souls.
