Delicate aromas associated with the white fruit character of the region, such as the bravo de esmolfe apple. Mineral notes in keeping with the granite soils from which it comes. On the palate, the fruit is more citric, with good freshness. Very pleasant, with a certain smoothness and a very dry, saline, long finish.
Pretexto White is a blend of traditional Dão grapes from high altitude vineyards and granite soils. The grapes that make up this blend are Encruzado and Bical, mostly, and Gouveio, Malvasia Fina and Cercial Branco. It ferments naturally and ages in the same tanks, of cement and stainless steel, which makes it very pleasant, with the creaminess and complexity that already allows it to accompany some gastronomy. It is a blend that speaks for the vines and soils that originate it.

Textura Wines
Textura Wines is a family project started in 2018 in Dão on the slopes of Serra da Estrela and involving organic viticulture, terroir wine production and wine tourism. In search of existing vineyards in a region of small producers, we have 22 ha of vineyards on 7 different plots in Vila Nova de Tazem and in Penalva do Castelo. With a low-intervention oenology, which reflects the soil and the location of each of our vineyards, the aim is to achieve wines with character, elegant and distinctive. Respect for the place and its biodiversity (soil, flora and fauna, people and community), the preservation of resources (natural and cultural) and local development are the basis of our fundamental principles.
