Poeira Desalinhados Curtimenta is an extraordinarily complex, extraordinarily dense and full-bodied white wine. It has notes of ripe citrus fruit, with aromas of tangerine, orange peel and nectarine. It is an orange-coloured white wine with citrus tannins, balsamic aromas and very elegant acidity.
Vinification: Poeira Desalinhados Curtimenta is a white wine produced from native white Arinto grapes from the Douro wine region. The musts were macerated for a long period in contact with the skins, where they fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine was then transferred to French oak barrels for 9 months, where it was regularly shaken before bottling.

After making seven vintages as winemaker at Real companhia velha, Jorge Moreira felt the need to start an individual project where he could apply his ideas and where he could control the entire production process. Without compromise, a wine that reflected his interpretation of the Douro. In 2001 he started the Poeira project located in Provesende, along a hillside in the Pinhão valley, on the right bank of the river of the same name.
