O Produtor, tasting note published in May 10th 2021
Intense mineral character, citrus aroma with hints of peach and almond. It is a wine of great complexity but elegant, with a firm acidity. In this context, the characteristic smoky ageing in barrique integrates perfectly with the aromas and freshness. Long finish and great persistence.
The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed without maceration. The must is placed in stainless steel vats at low temperatures. Fermentation takes place mostly in 228 and 500 litre barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks where the wine ages on fine lees for 9 months without malolactic fermentation.
