O Produtor, tasting note published in August 14th 2024
Citrus colour, bright and yellow with greenish tones. Complex nose with notes of stone fruit and a floral touch. The tasting reveals a harmonious profile, with the perfect texture and balance between the fruit of the grape varieties and the ageing in barrels. A very long, serious wine with strong notes of the Ravasqueira terroir and its minerality. To be tasted on its own or with a variety of dishes. A very gastronomic wine full of harmony.
Ravasqueira Selection of the Year White is an Alentejo Regional Wine. Produced from the Antão Vaz, Arinto and Viognier grape varieties, the grapes are harvested by hand in 12kg boxes and kept at 2°C until pressing. This wine is the result of a careful selection of the year’s outstanding grape varieties, with contact with the skins during a gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel vats at low temperatures. Part of the blend, 10 per cent, is aged in French oak barrels, giving the wine greater complexity. An ideal choice for lovers of high quality white wines.
