O Produtor, tasting note published in June 5th 2020

Elegant and complex nose with dominance of mineral notes of chalk, white flowers, beeswax and citrus. A few hints of spices like nutmeg and coriander seed. Mouth of great structure, texture and freshness with a very long but very involved acidity.

Mira

This wine is born from two small vineyards in the Bucelas valley. A floodplain vineyard in a very cold area on deep clay-limestone soils and another vineyard on a more calcareous and sunny slope. It is a raw approach to the unique “terroir” of this region, focusing on artisanal winemaking, devoid of technology and seeking the purest expression of Arinto de Bucelas.

It was a year with a warm winter but with a cool late spring and summer, which allowed for slow maturation and excellent levels of natural acidity and aromatic elegance. These grapes were harvested by hand in mid-September and the result is a wine full of complexity, texture and freshness.
