This spicy, dry Furmint leads the way with aromas of citrus, jasmine and freshly cut pineapple. It has delicious apple, peach and quince flavours with a good amount of weight on the palate.
There is a great amount of minerality and the finish is creamy at the same time. It is well balanced and has a long, clean finish.
This wine plays well with seafood, shellfish, oysters, sushi, spicy foods, chicken and most vegetables.
Dry furmints were almost unknown just a decade ago, but are now increasingly appearing on trendy wine lists among wine writers and restaurant
BUYERS.
VINIFICATION: destemming, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with yeast contact until bottling
AGING: “the spice”, in 300 L new Hungarian oak barrels (10%).
