Pale citrine colour, Excellent aromatic intensity, dominated by minerality with high quality wood notes. Aging took place for 8 months in barrels on total lees, suffered "batonnage". Excellent volume, freshness and balance.
Eraflage et foulage, pré-fermentation de 12H à 34º pour maximiser le travail des enzymes ; utilisation de levures sélectionnées, fermentation alcoolique avec contrôle de la température, remontage léger.

The Full Moon project in Vinhas Velhas is the result of the passionate connection that its 3 founders – João Silva e Sousa, Francisco Baptista and Manuel Dias – have maintained with the Douro for over two decades. After so many years of being surprised by this unique wine-growing region, in 2009 it was time to show how they saw Douro wines. The company’s history begins that year with Murça white wines – an area forgotten by progress, but which produces unique wines full of identity.
