O Produtor, tasting note published in April 7th 2024

On the banks of the Minho River lies the iconic sub-region of Monção and Melgaço, where the emblematic grape variety Alvarinho predominates. This wine comes from hillside vineyards, with a southwest exposure and granite soils. This terroir is characterized by a temperate Atlantic climate, with high levels of precipitation in winter and spring, and during the maturation phase, significant temperature variations that allow the grapes to achieve slow and balanced ripening, resulting in vibrant and mineral acidity.
