The Arinto grapes used in this wine were hand-harvested, showcasing exceptional quality that promises a wine with great potential.

The wines from Herdade dos Grous exhibit a strong personality, reflecting the characteristics of their terroir. Marked by freshness and the clarity of their fruit, the white wines possess great aromatic richness.

Vinification: The grapes spent a night in a cold chamber at 8°C. After this period, a manual grape selection is performed before full destemming, followed by a delicate pressing of the fresh grapes. The must is then decanted at a low temperature for two days. Fermentation takes place in a cement tank, where the wine ages for 6 months “sur lies” with “battonage.” The choice of this tank was motivated by its thermal stability, the preservation of the wine’s natural and neutral characteristics, and maximizing thermal inertia due to its spherical shape.

This wine pairs well with fish, seafood, and white meats. It is also suitable for accompanying Asian cuisine.
