Herdade do Rocim
A wine from the world for connoisseurs of unique and distinctive wines, who are concerned with sustainability and the protection and preservation of terroir.” – Pedro Ribeiro
Focusing on Portuguese white wines, two winemakers from very different backgrounds — Pedro Ribeiro from Herdade do Rocim and Lenz Moser, from the fifth generation of the Austrian winemaking dynasty with the same name — launch the Ribeiro & Moser project.
The debut of this adventure, with, according to them, a significant ecological and environmental concern, starts with an ultralight bottle that saves energy and reduces emissions, thus contributing to environmental balance, with an Arinto from Herdade do Rocim.
Vinification: Fermentation and aging in cement tanks (90%) and 500 L barrels (10%).
To be enjoyed alone or with a diverse range of seafood gastronomy.
It can be consumed immediately, but the acidity of the Arinto will allow the wine to evolve gracefully. Opinion shared by Edgardo Pacheco in the Público newspaper on June 16, 2023: “Obviously very young (it gives pleasure now, but ideally, give it time), it’s not one of those Arintos that come with citrusy aromatic notes jumping around. Moreover, it has a more floral matrix but delicate. In the mouth, that’s where the acidity is its trademark (but without breaking teeth). You can feel that the wine was built to last for years, deserving follow-up over time.
