Greenish-yellow colour. Aroma of mineral matrix and spice, denouncing the terroir and the barrel stage. Great volume of mouth, tension, structure and acidity that will allow a good evolution in bottle.
The “Grande Rocim” is an exceptional wine and was designed to be the best wine of Herdade do Rocim. It only appears in small quantities and in exceptional years. It is aged for 16 months in French oak.

Herdade do Rocim is a property located between Vidigueira and Cuba, in Baixo Alentejo, with about 120 hectares, including 70 hectares of vineyards and 10 hectares of olive groves. Acquired in 2000 by Movicortes, S.A., in the following years there was restructuring and qualification work, consummated with the planting of most of the vineyard that today constitutes the Herdade do Rocim. This process of implantation was made according to specific criteria that allow the production of high quality grapes. The winery is a structuring element of the Herdade do Rocim project, which combines wine production with the aesthetic quality of its architecture and works as a promotional element for the requalification of the region. At Herdade do Rocim all efforts go in the direction of doing well, always improving and with a constant concern for the quality of the wine.
