The grapes were hand-stemmed, gently crushed. The resulting must is separated from the pellets in pneumatic presses and subjected to static decantation for 24 hours, duly protected from oxidation until it reaches the desired degree of clarity. Fermentation in stainless steel vats under a controlled temperature of approximately 16ºC follows. It is bottled immediately after fermentation, in order to guarantee all its freshness.

Quinta das Fontaltas
Quinta das Fontaltas, with origins in 1626, is located in Resende, on 25 hectares of a south-facing slope, opposite the Monastery of Cárquere, in the Douro Region in northern Portugal. It belonged to a Corte Real noble family but has remained in the Namora family for three centuries. In its agricultural history, the productions of wine, olive oil, fruits and vegetables stand out. After several decades of abandonment and inadvertent fallowing, the new generation, already in the XXI century, begins the recovery of the Quinta, highlighting the planting of vines in almost half the area. This vineyard has a genetic heritage of over 390 years, making its wines unique”.
