The Fiuza Family has vineyards and produces wine for more than one century in two of their estates in the Tejo Region. The company was founded by Joaquim Mascarenhas Fiuza which brought the company into the 21st century. In 1985, there was a partnership between the Fiuza Family and the internationally acclaimed Australian winemaker, Peter Bright. Pioneer in studying international varieties in Portuguese soil, the company developed a range of single variety wines. Nowadays, the portfolio also has some blend wines, creating truly unique wines. Fiuza produces its’ wines with grapes from their own estates, grown in clay-limestone types of soil, and harvested manually and mechanically, ensuring high quality wines.
