O Produtor, tasting note published in December 14th 2022

Strong orange/brown colour with golden to amber highlights.
Bright, clear and transparent. Jam of yellow fruits like quinces, pears and other dried fruits like chestnuts and walnuts. Reminding varietal notes of grapes. Slight earthy notes, resins, fine woods and dried spices. Ethereal and complex. The dried fruit notes are impactful, with good body and persistence. Dry with balanced acidity. Smooth. Good finish, with a powerful aftertaste reminiscent of old fortified white wines and chestnut preserve. It is a complex and delicate orange wine. Its versatility allows it to be paired with earthy food, mushrooms, truffles, as well as succulent dishes (feijoadas and cassoulets), cod and game birds. It goes well with vegetarian dishes. Some bold connaisseurs recommend this wine for a peach pie or a tarte Tatin. Serve between 12ºC and 14ºC.
