Citrine with golden highlights, intense aroma of tropical fruits, notes of passion fruit and mango. Intense taste of tropical fruit, with an emphasis on passion fruit, long and persistent, fresh with moderate acidity.

Founded by Commander Vasco Faria, it is a family company with a strong connection to the wine industry since 1975. Currently managed by the grandson of the founder, it has 4 properties: 2 in Guimarães (Quinta de Freixieiro and Quinta de Cutiães) and 2 in Famalicão (Quinta de Pereira and Quinta do Xisto) where the green wine “Encosta do Xisto” is produced only and exclusively from the best grapes of its own vineyards. In these properties in Minho, with around 25 ha of vineyards, the best grape varieties of the region are found, giving rise to white wines (Loureiro, Alvarinho, Trajadura and Arinto), rosé wines (Espadeiro) and red wines (Vinhão), which are highly regarded in the region.
The harvest is carried out manually, with the separation of the grape varieties, allowing for separate vinification and the subsequent blending according to the characteristics of the wines obtained. In our property, Quinta do Xisto, in Requião, Vila Nova de Famalicão, we have the cellar where all the vinification of the sparkling and green wines is done, by the most recent traditional vinification processes.
