O Produtor, tasting note published in May 5th 2024
The wine impresses in the aroma by its great minerality, reminiscent of flint and wet stone, alongside notes of lemon peel. The citrus side is dominant in the mouth, light and crisp, giving much elegance and freshness to the set. The finish is long, precise and very refined.
A wine that arises from 30-year-old Arinto vines and centennial vines of Bical and Cercial that dot the old vineyards of Bairrada. It is a pure and simple approach to the clay-limestone soils of the region and to the Atlantic climate, which allows a unique expression of minerality and salinity in the wine.

Old vines, century-old vines, hillside vines, lowland vines, clay or stony vines, all produce different wines.
It has been our mission to interpret all the differences that exist in the vines and transpose them into the different wines. Our major focus is on old vines of Baga, in the case of the reds, and Bical in the case of the whites, although in some vineyards there are blends with other local grape varieties.
The oenology is minimalist in terms of intervention but quite differentiated and adapted to each of the different vineyards, i.e., the different plots also have a different approach in the winery in order to better reveal what we believe to be their purest expression.
We want wines that are tense, fresh and complex, with a great connection to the terroir and a unique personality and that, fundamentally, will give us pleasure for many years.
