Limas Wine Douro
Lima’s Wine Douro is a family company based in Carrazeda de Ansiães, Portugal. It was born with that ambition that characterizes the people of the demarcated Douro region. Wanting to produce a wine with unique characteristics, from the bottle to the fabulous nectar inside. We take care of every detail, from the grapes to bottling the wine. In 1985, fascinated by the Douro Valley, José Miguel Lima acquired Quinta Ribeiro da Vila in Goleja. He fulfilled a great dream, to produce high quality grapes for fortified wine. After 20 years of hard work and passion, a new challenge, to produce red wines for own consumption. The results of this passionate experience have translated into harvests that have improved their quality year after year. The family, encouraged by loyal friends who appreciate their wine, created Quinta Ribeiro da Vila. Thinking of you, we believe this serene tasting will give you enormous spiritual pleasure. Quinta Ribeiro da Vila wine is produced in the family’s three vineyards, covering an area of approximately 7 hectares in total, with Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca as the main grape varieties. The average age is 25 years, with reconversion in progress.
