CV Curriculum Vitae
The 2018/2019 wine year was characterised by significant fluctuations in temperature and below-normal annual rainfall values, making 2019 a dry year. The weather conditions led to a slight advance in the vegetative cycle compared to the average of the last five years. This advance slowed down during the cycle. Despite the occurrence of heavy rain in April, the subsequent weather conditions contributed to the excellent phytosanitary quality of the grapes at harvest.
Harvesting generally began at the end of September and continued slightly later than the previous year
thanks to good weather conditions in September and October. The occasional rainfall during the harvest had a positive impact on the ripening process, as shown by the good phytosanitary quality of the bunches at harvest.
The good phytosanitary quality of the bunches made it possible to wait for the grapes to ripen. The harvest resulted in high quality musts, generally with higher acidity, lower alcohol content and good phenolic content.
The white grapes were harvested between 6am and 16 September 2019.
