Curral Teles
Curral Teles is the place where our winery is located. These wines essentially focus on the human influence on wine. From the choice of grape varieties, planting methods, vinification, aging, etc. These are wines produced in small quantities that reflect the experiments conducted in the winery and are not produced every year. They are classified with letters from the Greek alphabet in honor of the experiments carried out in Greek academies.
The Curral Teles κ white wine is a DOC Douro wine without added sulfites. Location: Douro Superior.
Vinification: Rabigato crafted and bottled without any added sulfur. It contains only the sulfites naturally produced by the yeasts during fermentation. Sourced from a schist soil parcel located at 600m altitude, these grapes were directly pressed in a vertical press. Spontaneous fermentation in barrel and tank (50%) with malolactic fermentation completed. Bottled after 6 months of aging.
