O Produtor, tasting note published in October 5th 2023
Aromatically intense, this white wine immediately takes us to the tropical expression of Antão Vaz, with notes of pineapple, mango, and apricot. On the palate, Viosinho dominates, bringing forth the “Winter” expression, where acidity, minerality, and freshness give life to the whole. This Winter White is aged in Hungarian oak barrels acquiring structure, volume, and elegance.
The white wine Branco de Inverno Escolha do Enólogo (Winter White Winemaker’s Selection) is a wine with great gastronomic potential.
Harvest: Mechanical and Nighttime.
Vinification: Night harvest, under the light, shine, and company of the moon. Fermentation in barrels, with temperature control. The wine is then subjected to a battonage process.
Aging: 12 months in Hungarian Oak barrels.
