Ontem White Wine is a regional wine from the Douro region, very citric with a vibrant acidity. It presents a bright yellow colour with aromas of citrus fruits. In the mouth it shows a good freshness, minerality and a medium body. The finish is persistent and intense.
Vinification: Grapes hand picked into small boxes, with perfect ripeness. Fermentation starts inside the grapes, and only then the masses are pressed and fermentation is finished. Most of the wine ages in stainless steel tanks, only 20% of the wine ages for 10 months in used French oak barrels.
Ageing: 10 months in stainless steel tanks (80%) and old French oak barrels (20%)
