Céu na Terra

An artisanal expression of Alvarinho, produced from excellent vineyards in the heart of the Monção-Melgaço sub-region of Vinho Verde. This unique terroir allows the aromatic and fruity qualities of the Alvarinho grape to fully express themselves. Crafted by Master of Wine Liam Steevenson and local winemaker Joana Santiago, Céu na Terra is a truly unique wine, elegant, fresh, and citrusy, yet with a wonderful tea-like quality in its rich texture that evolves in the bottle over time and in the glass when opened.

“Céu na Terra” not only reflects the wine but also the extraordinary beauty of the region.
In a place where the Atlantic merges with the coast, and where some of the world’s best seafood is found, where the rain keeps the countryside dramatically green, this wine has a true sense of place.
Céu na Terra is a reflection of nature, crafted by a passionate team of talented winemakers.

Handpicked in 20kg crates. The grapes are destemmed and lightly pressed, then fermented at controlled temperature for 1 month. It is aged for 7 months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees until bottling with periodic batonnage.
