Casas Altas
The Casas Altas 2008 White Wine was born from a small local vineyard located at about 750 meters above sea level in the municipality of Pinhel, planted in granitic sandy soils, with the Viosinho and Malvasia grape varieties. The unique terroir of Beira Interior with its demanding climate, high temperature variations, granitic soils, and altitudes exceeding 650 meters, where vineyards coexist with meadows, forests, and olive groves, confers distinctive qualities to the wines produced here.
Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks with electronic temperature control. Its freshness pairs well with seafood, fish, or white meats.
Winemaker: Gabriela Canossa.
