O Produtor, tasting note published in October 12th 2018
Very elegant Alvarinho, where the citric and floral tones are balanced with drier notes of tea leaf and wet stone. In the mouth it is alive and harmonious, with a good volume, but with acidity and minerality to give balance. With a long, creamy and complex aftertaste, this Alvarinho ferments on fine lees, presenting a more austere and complex profile.
Made up of soils of granite origin, the Marco de Canaveses region has a favourable climate for the production of great vinho verde. Located in the interior of the Region, the region is protected from the influence of the Atlantic and at a high average altitude, so the temperature ranges are higher than the average for the Region and the summer is hotter. Very elegant Alvarinho, where the citric and floral tones are balanced with more dry notes of tea leaf and wet stone.
