Citrus coloured wine, with well defined aromas marked by stone fruit notes and some complexity. The mouth is unctuous and structured, with lively and pronounced acidity. The finish is persistent and striking.
Casa das Gaeiras, located in Óbidos and founded in the 18th century, is an icon in the quality wines of the Lisbon region.
History has rewarded the pioneering quality of the wines of this house since the end of the 19th century, and Casa das Gaeiras was the first producer to bottle quality wines in the region.
Grapes destemmed and subjected to cold maceration for 24 hours. The must clarified, fermented with controlled temperatures in French oak barrels.
It goes very well with dry cheeses, strong and pasty cheeses. Optimum complement with fish in the oven, and all the dishes of cod and white meat.
