O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2020

Clear and citrus colour. Olfactory Appearance: Intense and elegant aroma, with hints of lute and fresh fruit, like pear. It presents a smoky character, result of the stage in barrels, which gives it some complexity. In the mouth it is fresh, revealing good volume and structure, with the characteristic acidity of the region conferring freshness and elegance in a set with much longevity of flavour.

The grapes were crushed after destemming. They were then pressed, using only must from exhaustion. Cold decantation for 48 hours, after which the must was separated from the lees. Fermented between 12 and 14 ºC for 4 weeks and 85% of the blend finished fermentation in French oak barrels. After the end of the alcoholic fermentation it was in “batonnage” in the fine lees for 8 months.
