O Produtor, tasting note published in June 12th 2019
On tasting, notes of noble wood are appreciated, with a logical and slow evolution. A long-lived and very fine white wine. A "Rioja" of the great decades. This wine from Bodegas Contador makes us keep our five senses intact until the last sip.

The history of Bodega Contador begins in 1995, when Benjamin Romeo, winemaker and viticulturist, acquired a century-old cave dug into the rock under the Castle of San Vicente de la Sonsierra (Rioja). In 1996, he made the first vintage of his wine “La Cueva del Contador” and began buying vineyards for his project to become a “bodeguero” – a wine producer.
