O Produtor, tasting note published in September 27th 2020
It has a very light greenish-yellow colour and an aroma of flôr with hints of orange tree and citrus; in the mouth it is enveloping and surprisingly full, dry and long in the mouth.
Born on the northern slopes of our Serra da Ursa vineyard, the highest exponent of the “terroir” of the Arrábida mountains, its grapes reach a very high richness and elegance.
In this harvest, the year was very dry, causing a normal ripening of the grapes. The Moscatel de Setúbal was harvested in the third week of September. It was vinified using gentle methods in the pressing, low temperature fermentation aiming the conservation of the grapes primary aromas. The final lot was made in January 2020, taking advantage of the “explosion” of
aromas and freshness that mark the wines just fermented, having been bottled in May 2020.
