Arca Nova
Wines made from this variety are characterized by abundant floral and fresh notes, a hint of minerality, and ripe fruit on the palate. The Arca Nova Alvarinho is a perfect example of this.
Winemaking: Manual harvest from low-yield vineyards per hectare. Skin maceration, flotation decanting, and temperature-controlled fermentation. Bâtonnage at the end of alcoholic fermentation for one month, once a week. Released to the market after a minimum aging of 2 months.
This Vinho Verde pairs wonderfully with a variety of fish dishes, grilled poultry, Asian cuisine, or simply a fresh salad. It’s perfect as a summer aperitif.
Suggestion: Salmon Tataki.
Profile: Residual Sugar (g/dm³): 1.5 | Total Acidity (g/dm³): 6
Winemakers: Fernando Machado and Henrique Lopes.
