An incredibly vibrant wine that is like Starburst and pear drops in a glass with a tingly acid streak. Juicy pineapple, candied lemon peel and some herbal notes lead to a tangy, fizzy acidity and a long, zesty, mouth-watering finish.
AMU is an outstanding reflection of Sardinia. A dry, fresh and invigorating Vermentino wine that pairs perfectly with typical Mediterranean foods like grilled vegetables and seafood. With refined aromas of citrus peel and white flowers, it offers a richness but with an uplifting salinity on the finish. Vermentino is one of Italy’s most remarkable grapes, which until recently has been overlooked in favour of more famous French varieties like Sauvignon and Chardonnay. With AMU, you experience Vermentino’s generosity which makes it so appealing whether served alongside a plate of fresh seafood or on its own as an early evening Aperitivo.
