O Produtor, tasting note published in September 8th 2021
Wine with a straw yellow color, attractive; good aromatic concentration, achieved only by the age of the vines that gave it origin. Nose with floral aromas, white fruit, and a hint of gunpowder that contributes to its aromatic richness. Dry wine, with a fresh acidity, good texture on the palate, with multiple layers of complexity, resulting in a rich, voluminous, and balanced finish.
The Adegamãe Vinhas Velhas wine is produced “in the heart of the Serra de Montejunto, on a west-facing slope near the villages of Avenal and Pereiro. A parcel of Vital, over 40 years old, withstands the harsh climate, which, considering the specificity of this variety (difficult viticulture), its rarity, and the specific location (Montejunto is one of the emblematic terroirs for the expression of this variety) and… the wines it can produce, makes it a treasure.”
Vinification: Hand-picked harvest and light pressing, with static cold decantation for 48 hours. Fermentation in a concrete egg with temperature control for 20 days, followed by 10 months of aging.

ADEGAMÃE
The AdegaMãe was born out of a passion that has always been at the core of the Riberalves Group: wine. Supported by a modern and innovative architectural project, the AdegaMãe is a strong investment in both the wine industry and wine tourism.
As far as production is concerned, what’s special about AdegaMãe is that it invests in genuine wines that are expressive of the unique characteristics of the Lisbon Region, very much defined by its Atlantic influence.
