O Produtor, tasting note published in May 17th 2020
This Viosinho from Alentejo has a limpid appearance and greenish hues, with a fresh, elegant nose. It suggests notes of citrus, white-fleshed fruit and a hint of minerality. On the palate, the fruit strengthens its presence and the lively acidity shows the character of the grape variety. The body is enveloping, leading to a silky, well-balanced finish.
Vinification The grapes were hand-picked in 15 kg crates. In the winery, the bunches were selected by hand, destemmed, crushed and pressed. After static decanting, the must was fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15°C. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine underwent a period of ageing in stainless steel, where it naturally stabilised until bottling.
