O Produtor, tasting note published in April 5th 2023

Pale lemon in colour, this Arinto has an intense, varietal aroma. It evokes citrus fruits, lemon zest and floral notes, particularly orange blossom. The nose is almost acidic. On the palate, the attack is taut and vibrant. The firm structure and 'full' palate judiciously combine the freshness of the flavours with the natural acidity of the grape variety. The finish is long and complex, persistent and mineral.

Adega Mayor

The grapes were hand-picked from selected plots of vines in 15 kg crates. On arrival at the winery, the grapes were hand-selected, immediately destemmed and crushed in stainless steel vats. After 48 hours of cold maceration and skin removal, the grapes were gently pressed and the natural process of static decantation that leads to alcoholic fermentation took place. After the normal period of fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of around 15ºC, the wine underwent a period of ageing in storage, was stabilised and finally bottled.
