O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2024
It has a clear, citrus-like appearance and an intense and complex aroma. With a fruity character, of citric aromas mixed with tropical fruits, it is also noted the floral of violet and wild shrubs. In taste the wine proves to be equally complex, with good body, but simultaneously elegant and fresh. It is a wine that leaves in the mouth all its aromatic complexity of the Alvarinho, with end of mouth very pleasant, extremely long and persistent.
The Alvarinho grape variety, grown in clay-limestone soils, gives rise to a wine with a bright straw color, citrus reflections, and an intense aroma of the grape—delicate and complex. The bottle aging imparts a harmonious and persistent flavor, highlighting the unique characteristics of this noble grape variety, showcased here in its utmost originality.
Vinification: Slow fermentation at a low temperature of Alvarinho grapes. Aging for at least 6 months after bottling.
“This wine serves as an aperitif and pairs in perfect harmony with dishes of white meat, fish, and seafood.” – Eng. João Garrido, winemaker.
