O Produtor, tasting note published in August 15th 2022
Elaborated from the varieties Gouveio, Malvasia Fina, Rabigato, Viosinho, Códega and Touriga Franca.
It presents a citrine colour. In the mouth, it has a very fine and persistent bubble, releasing a fresh and delicate aroma. The palate reveals light, complex fruit flavours and a pleasant hint of vivifying acidity, leaving a delicate, long-lasting taste. Lots of brioche note in the mouth that results soft and well proportioned, mousse and acidity very well integrated. Persistent and delicious.
The grapes originate from the coldest areas of the Douro, at 550 metres. After fermentation at low temperature, the wine remained in fine sediment (battonage) for 3 months in order to increase complexity. The final blend was prepared with second fermentation in bottle, according to the Champenoise method.
