Quinta de Arcossó
The sparkling wine Quinta de Arcossó Pinot Noir originates from Arcossó – Vidago – in the sub-region of Ribeira de Oura, in a plot of vineyard planted exclusively for sparkling wine, with 1 hectare, integrated into a set of 8 hectares of new vineyards planted in 2016, situated on a broad slope at a medium altitude of 480 meters, facing south, with approximately 30% slope. Soil of granitic origin.
The grapes were harvested on August. Whole cluster pressing without destemming. Decantation for 48 hours. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Aging for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. Bottle fermentation with free yeast and aging on lees for 30 months. Disgorgement carried out on November, 2023.
For immediate consumption. Serve at a temperature of 6º-8ºC.
