Quinta D’Amares is a place of tradition and history, deeply rooted in Portugal’s cultural and winemaking heritage. Located in the concelho of Amares, at the heart of the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region, the Quinta spans around 50 hectares in the village of Sto. André de Rendufe, where long-standing religious and agricultural traditions coexist.
The historic Rendufe Monastery, founded in the 11th century, and the 17th-century Aqueduct are iconic symbols that enrich the estate’s landscape and enhance the essence of the wines produced at Quinta D’Amares.
With south-facing exposure and a unique microclimate, the Quinta offers ideal conditions for excellent viticulture. The combination of soil, climate, and grape varieties enables the production of authentic, high-quality Vinho Verde wines. Crafted from seven carefully selected grape varieties, the wines of Quinta D’Amares have received national and international awards, standing out for their unique characteristics that captivate even the most discerning wine lovers.
